Yes, the chilly dragon has fallen. This despite some raiders who shall remain nameless who preferred formation ice tombing (is that a winter olympic sport?) to serious attempts on the boss!
After much gnashing of teeth, some mind controls, whining from raid leaders about the need to spread out and the odd disconnect Cause and Effect defeated Blood-Queen Lanathal.
Despite not being able to maintain optimum instance performance, kudos to Blizzard on this excellently tuned encounter.
Slightly less interesting, though nontheless noteworthy was our encounter with a jolly green dragon by the name of Valithria Dreamwalker who was having a nice relaxing snooze. Such was her gratitude when we bandaged her to full health that she ported out! Pah... typical. Here is an overcluttered UI at the end of the fight instead of a nice picture of us gathered round a gurning dragon!
First of all, an apology. Our regular front page updater has taken a leave of absense and I'm a lazy so and so...
We have however been busy in Icecrown and have even been killing some bosses, the latest of which has been a loud-mouth scientist who ought to lay off the home brew... After some "persuasion" he decided to sleep off his inevitable hangover.
The raid also took down the council of blood on the previous evening's raiding, and the raid was so happy about this that they bogged off before I could hit my print screen button. Here is a screenshot of me looking miffed in their room just after their corpses despawned instead!
Doubtless our ventrilo will be full of more profanities than this parrot* after a night on Noth's special brew before ICC is done, but I'm sure it'll be tons of fun!
So we were back at our favourite Twins once more and they were getting busy telling us we weren't 'worthy' or whatever. A change in the tactics and 6 tries later...
So that worked out pretty nicely. We passed on going to see Anub just yet, time to polish up on the new tactics and make sure we're prepared.
